Service Engineer (FULL TIME)

Job Description:
Bryant and Cairns are looking for an experienced Service Engineer for Windows, Door and Conservatory products to join our fantastic team based in Loanhead, Edinburgh. As Service Engineer you will work closely with our Aftersales Team. It will be your responsibility to visit customers premises and rectify any installation issues or faults. Your main duties will vary but would be focussed around: Window & Door Repairs (including new Handles/Mechanisms/Hinges/Door Bolts etc) Installation of Double Glazing Units (mainly uPVC).
Role requirements:
- Travel to customers’ homes to complete installation repair jobs to a high standard.
- Carrying out works to the highest standards of workmanship and in line with H&S procedures.
- Ensuring any parts or remedial works required are clearly and accurately stated.
- Reporting any difficulties and service updates to our aftersales team and operations managers.
- Keeping detailed records of work carried out.
- Ensuring the vehicle is fully stocked with all materials to complete service calls.
- Delivering an exceptional customer service.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working with uPVC & aluminium window, door & conservatory products.
- A background in carpentry or joinery would be highly beneficial.
- Excellent record for time keeping and reliability.
- Impeccable attention to detail and takes pride in producing exceptional work.
- Customer centred approach to working.
- Full driving licence.
